I'm pleased you enjoyed listening to some of the "Somerset Life" episodes - I particularly like the ones penned by Philip - but I wouldn't want you or your readers to think that the 'dialect' I adopted for Sam & Ebeneezer is representative of how the locals around these here parts actually speak! Though it probably mimicks a few elements of West Country speech patterns, it's pretty much a made-up accent, intended to add a touch of humour rather than to accurately reflect voices encountered in real life.
