Thank you for your very kind comments. I don’t live in NYC or LA either, so I totally get how it feels to live outside those major markets. In fact, I’m going to be on a panel at VOICE 2010 to talk about my experience of making a living in voiceover outside one of the major markets.

Perhaps sometime we can get our schedules to coordinate! Meanwhile, know that your work on the internet with your BOBLOG etc. is fabulous and I'm a huge fan. Here in the "hinterlands" of Texas, we try to keep an eye on LA and NYC where the industry thrives. Fortunately for me, I do voice for major agency clients on both coasts and have experienced the advertising agency side of voice work. Many have not. So, even though I don't live on the coasts, I have the "feel" and the "knowledge" but miss being there day to day. I've spent quite a bit of time in LA and NYC but it's not the same as being able to take part in so much, have dinner with friends, socialize, etc. It's lonely back here sometimes and I miss it. So your blog and your writings on various sites are always great to read and give me a "taste" of what I miss. Let me know if I can be of help sometime. Thank You.
