About Bob
My earliest years were spent on a family farm in North Central Minnesota, just outside the tiny town of Oak Park, which had a population at the time of 25. Through my growing up years we lived in or near small towns in Mille Lacs county and I worked on my Grandfather’s farm or the farms of neighbors and other relatives until I graduated from high school and left for college in the suburbs of Chicago.
Since then, I’ve lived in the city or suburbs of Chicago, IL; Virginia Beach, VA; Pittsburgh, PA, St. Paul, MN and Charlotte, NC.
I’m very grateful for the down-to-earth (literally and figuratively) grounding those early years gave me.
If you explore the archives of this blog you’ll read about my earliest voiceover experience in 1974 as well as the story of how I eventually got serious about working in voiceovers in 1983. Hopefully, you’ll also find some links, interviews and comments that are helpful, too.
You can hear a few demos through the flash players on the upper right hand of the blog’s main page. Or click through to my Voices.com or Voice123.com pages for more.
