The Voicey Awards are now open for nominations in several categories, though as my friend Jeffrey Kafer points out there are a couple of wrinkles in the nomination rules that leave some folks out in the cold.
Update: As you can see in the comments below, the rules for New Talent have been updated to reflect the many new voiceover talents who are above 30 years of age when they get started.

Hi Bob,
I’m grateful that you addressed this and I can respond.
Within less than an hour of receiving Jeffrey’s initial comment this afternoon, I changed the criteria to include that people over the age of 30 would also be considered for the New Voice Award.

In my haste, I neglected to email Jeffrey in addition to my replying on the site which I assumed he was following closely. Had I taken that extra step, perhaps we may not have had such a reaction to the announcement of the nominations. This is a positive endeavor and we are open to feedback and are willing to work with people on areas of concern.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond.
Best,
Stephanie

Stephanie,
Thank you for your quick, decisive and positive action. I’ll edit my post to take account of this excellent development.
Be well,
