It’s Firefox 3 download day, though their servers are being hammered with all the folks helping them set a new world record for single day downloads. You might want to try a bit later.
(Update: There’s something not quite right yet with the ScribeFire plug-in and Firefox 3, hence my previous, empty post.)
(Further update: The page might still say Firefox 2 at the top, but if you look at the download button, it should now say 3.0 as the download.)

You’re welcome. It was my oldest son Eric who alerted me to the upcoming release a few days ago. I’m glad you were able to get through. I’m sure that’s going to get better as the day goes on.

Their servers must’ve been melting. I finally got in to download, but I might hold off on installing for just a bit until I see what happens with plugins.
I’ve been using the portable version of FF3 RC2, and most everything has been solid though.

I’m sure you’re right. So far, all of my key plug-ins are working fine. I did have to upgrade a few, but the new versions are all working fine. My only losses were a couple of themes that I can live without.
