Great kit. Now… how to create the recording ‘atmosphere’ without crawling into a clothing-filled closet or hide your head & mike under blankets while on the road? Yes, I’ve done both.

No question, dealing with the “room” is one of the issues. Throwing a comforter over one’s head does work. I’ve done it when the room was especially “live” sounding; but most of the time creating a nest of pillows on the desk against the wall works well enough.
