He was still singing at 104

Last week, George Beverly Shea died at the age of 104. I had the privilege of working with him for several years. He was truly one of the nicest, kindest and most talented people I’ve ever known. I was very grateful to be the narrator of this memorial video about his life and work.

    Somehow I missed this in the news last week. Sad to hear it, but happy for him now! Beautiful tribute to a beautiful life. What a privilege you had in working with him and this narration.

    one of my fondest childhood memories is of sitting with my father, watching the Billy Graham crusades on television. no matter who the musical guest was, George Beverly Shea’s demeanor and pure spirit shone. a beautiful tribute!
