Caring for your microphone

General, Tools

There’s some good information from Karl Winkler, brand manager for Neumann USA, on the care of your condenser microphone on the Disc Makers site. My thanks to my friend Rob for posting this link on the VO-BB.

Meant to comment on this sooner, as it’s a good find with nice simple advice. Even if the side of your mic says R0DE or MXL instead of Neumann.
It always kinda chaps me when I see someone abusing a budget condenser, and then complain about it’s quality…

    Some Audio Guy,
Thank you. I agree, especially since someone using a budget condenser microphone probably can’t afford to just go buy another one.
    Be well,
    Bob
