Am I the only one having troubles playing these? Starting with video 3, none of them are playing for me, either on my PC or my Mac.

I’m sorry to say that I don’t know what the problem is. It’s playing fine for me here. Does it work if you go to the site directly?

You are not alone. After attempts with three different browsers, I am still unable to view any of Joe’s videos. He does have his first two Ask Joes on his You Tube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/AskJoeVO
Hopefully, he will update soon and include the rest of the videos.
