    Hi Bob. It’s an interesting piece! Personally I’m enjoying now being able to market myself on Facebook with a proper URL for the first time, though it will be some time (if ever) before I dip my toe into the murky waters of “targeted ads” for my page.
    No doubt though, the degree with which social networking sites like Facebook can help advertisers “narrowcast” their messages to targeted groups will indeed revolutionise the media and advertising industries, and it will be interesting to see how traditional media adapt – or not – to the challenge. I have some of my own theories on that for another time!
