    Bob, I got rid of a lot of muscle tension when I stopped holding copy and started using a stand. Yes, the copy should be high enough so that your head is level while reading – but the stand can do that for you, freeing your hand, arm and shoulder muscles.
    When recording tall voiceoverists, I put the stand on a box.
