As my granddaddy used to say, “This is the easy stuff!”
Marc’s email is helpful because it sheds light on what casting directors have to go through — and what they’d rather *not* have to deal with when they cast a project.
People expect us to be professional. We need to project the aura of someone whom others can rely on. When the chips are down, we’re able to come through and deliver the goods.
When a person doesn’t follow clear and simple directions written in an email, it casts doubts on how well they’ll be able to take direction when they’re in the booth.
A big thanks to Marc Cashman for writing this — and for permitting me to share it on my blog!
