Frustration or Preparation

General

In a recent blog post, Seth Godin offers a fabulous insight about how to keep your voiceover business moving. You have a choice every day. You can either feel bad about the audition that you didn’t book, or jealous of all the work so-and-so friend on Facebook is always posting about.

Or you can begin preparing today for what you have to do so that tomorrow you are doing the work that you want to be doing.

Which is it going to be?

I would say that my number one tip for keeping myself and my business moving is my dry erase white board. I keep a long list of things that i need to do and cross them off one at a time, no matter if i have alot of jobs lined up or if things are slow.
There are always things to do as far as promoting yourself/business, seeking out new ways to find customers, improving your products, and thinking of new products/services to sell or promote.
